I thought that the acting by the Main Stars: Ramirez (Gianni Versace), Criss (Andrew Cunanan), Martin ( Antonio D'Amico), and Cruz (Donatella Versace) were infrequent! I, too, thought that Special Guest Star: Judith Low-cal every bit Marilyn Miglin (wife of real estate developer Lee Miglin, a murder victim) and In the Recurring Office: Jon Jon Briones as Modesto Cunanan (Andrew's begetter) were exceptional likewise!

The only thing that I didn't like was the farthermost violence only, I approximate, when a series is portraying existent life, they want to be every bit authentic as possible. Still, I would have preferred that instead of viewing the violence, we could have just seen the very beginning of it and found out through police force conversation/reports how bad information technology really was.

With simply one episode to go I take greatly enjoyed this serial! The acting has been fabulous. It takes you into the life of Andrew Carnanan and lets you see what led up to each of his killings, culminating in the final death of Versace.

I'k sure they'll realize they jumped the gun with their negative reviews one time they check back. Starting time episode was fantastic and I'g looking forward to the rest.

it's Edgar Ramirez' presence that keeps me coming back.

First episode is wonderful, and features Edgar Ramirez equally Gianni Versace. Yous can't take your eyes off this actor. Although all the acting is fine, when "Versace" (Ramirez) is on the screen, he'due south the 1 yous wait at. He is, or presently volition be, a major star.

Episode 1 shows the magnificent, opulant estate Versace built via what he earned on his journeying from poverty to the building of a fashion empire. Located in Florida, it'south a rare expect into the living style of someone with complete taste and the money to express it. What a human. What a house.

Unfortunately, the residual of the series (and then far, only 6 have aired, out of 9) doesn't live up to the first episode, fifty-fifty though Darren Criss's nuanced performance as Andrew Cunanan, the assassin who shot down Versace, is splendid, equally are performances of the other actors, particularly that by Penelope Cruz equally Gianni'southward sister, Donatella. Ricky Martin turns in a proficient job as Gianni'due south longtime companion Antonio D'Amico.

This is a really well washed piece! I of course remember when information technology all happened and followed the story somewhat on the news and in the papers, but this was very real and sensitive to all sides actually. Didn't alter my heed as to right and wrong or the horror of what occurred but it gave me insight as to how and why information technology all went down as it did. So distressing. The loss of a truly talented and beautiful soul. Not to mention the other less known people who also were murdered. Very sad.
